Readers Journal #6 Justin Bieber Oh Baby! - By: Mary Boone- October,6,2011

Dear Mrs Zrihen,

I just finished reading the book JUSTIN BIEBER OH BABY! By Mary Boone. I picked this book because i love Justin Bieber he inspires me and i love listening to his music. The significance of the book is to always believe in yourself and follow your dreams. The two reading strategies i used before reading the book is i skimmed and scanned the title and the pictures, the second strategy i used was i asked myself what do i already know about Justin Bieber..well i know he was born in Canada and that he is 17 and that he is the biggest pop star in the world. The two reading strategies i used during i read were i went back and reread what i didn't know about Justin Bieber, The second strategy i used was i looked through some pages to see if there was words i don't know. The two reading strategies i used after reading were i asked myself what do i know now about Justin Bieber and what did i understand, The second strategy i used was i looked through some pages for text features.

The Genre of this book is Biography. The Characters of this book are Justin Bieber the pop star, Ryan Good the person that dresses him, Scooter Braun his manager,Pattie Mallete his mom, and Jeremy Bieber his dad and their flat and round. the setting is Everywhere around the world, his concerts, and his house. The Exposition is Justin Bieber, Ryan Good,Scooter Braun, Jeremy Bieber, and Pattie Mallete. The rising action is like lots of people didn't like him till he got his movie out. The climax  is that Justin Bieber's movie is called Never Say Never it tells you to like always believe in yourself and always follow your dreams. The falling action is when people saw Justin Bieber's Movie Never Say Never. The resolution is when now people really like Justin Bieber he has 37,000,000 friends on facebook and 13,000,000 followers on twitter.  The conflict was adults didn't like Justin Bieber that much.

The tone of this book is happy and excited. The mood of this book is happy. The theme of this book is to Never Say Never and always believe in yourself. The moral of this book is too Never give up. The point of view of this book is 1st person and 3rd person. The pattern of organization is compare and contrast. The authors Purpose is to entertain and inform. The authors perspective is Objective and bias.

My favorite part about the book is when he explains why he made that movie, i like that part because he wanted to show his fans that anybody can follow their dreams. My opinion about his book is that its really great it inspires kids and adults. I would rate this book 5/5 because i loved it!!!

Sincerely,
                  Noy Nahumi
