The author’s purpose for writing this article is to persuade because they can tell Dr. Kings’ s story and what happened and what was his dream.
The author’s perspective in this article is objective/subjective (biased) because he gives his opinion on the article and his speech.
The pattern of organization of the article is compare and contrast.
The reason the author chose this pattern for the article is comparing what it would be like of his dream wouldn’t come true even a little part of it, and contrast what happened today when his dream came true.
The text features included in the article are: I have a dream speech, Dr.King, and the effect.
I have a dream speech helps by Dr.king
Dr king helps by he wrote the I have a dream speech and gave It to people.
Dr king Helps by The effect in discrimination.
This article is about (a summary in your own words): Dr. Kings dream and the name of it and the effect it had on people and what happened after he read it and if it came true or not, I think it came true but not all of it because people still get more rights than others and they discriminate others.
The significance (importance) of this article is to not discriminate others and not treat everyone fairly and not to judge them.
What I learned from this article is to not judge others and how they are and not to discriminate others.
What I liked about this article is when he gave his own opinions and not judge others.
What I did not like about it when people shot him and did not like him and what he said like the white people didn’t like what he said.
Who should read this article and why I think everyone should read this article to get to know who Dr. King is if they don’t know who he is.
(text-to-self): This article reminds me of dream I had about meeting my favorite singers and I told my friends about it but they don’t like that singer.
(text-to-text): This article reminds me of a book of a young singer had he had a dream to have a successful life and he never gave up and he became one.
(text-to-world): This article reminds me of people having dreams about being successful and always being great at what they do.
